FOR President Elects ONLY. This is Part 2 of the President Elect Training Sessions
Multi District President-Elect Training (MDPETS) is the second part of president-elect training and follows the district’s own online training components held in January and February. MDPETS is an in-person training session where our presidents-elect meet with those of District 7070 and District 7080 at the BMO Training Center in Toronto, Ontario the late afternoon of Friday March 2, overnight and until 4:30 pm March 3, 2018.
The BMO Training Center charges $350 for accommodations and food. This is what presidents-elect are asked to pay at time of registration.
It should be noted that over the past four years the district covered $200 of the cost of MDPETS from its reserve fund. This interim practice was ended when the 2017 - 2018 district budget was voted on by presidents-elect on May 6, 2017.
The cost of running MDPETS is more than just room and board and these additional costs will be covered by the $100 clubs have already paid towards president-elect training as part of the district dues levee.
Presidents-elect are asked to go on the district website, Rotary7090.org and register for MDPETS. Pay by credit card and ask your club to be reimbursed.
Summary: Please register now for both PETS online training and MDPETS in Toronto. Registration can be made through the district web site at www.Rotary7090.org
