Hi Club Secretary,
You are serving in a significant role for your club. You are not expected to know everything, but you should be somewhat familiar with where to find it so that you can direct your club's Rotarians to the resource they need to do their role.
Your first frame of reference for your role is the Rotary International page Secretary's Resources (click on it in the menu on left to be directed there). It has everything you need to be an effective club secretary. Other important documents for your key club role include the Recommended Rotary Club's Bylaws and the Standard Rotary Club Constitution. Please note the downloads are adaptable for changes to your club culture and practice....however, you want to ensure your bylaws are consistent with the constitution. The only amendable items in the constitution download are the meeting location and time/date.
