CHRISTMAS KICK OFF?
It seems a long time to the next Christmas season, but the Rotary Club of Grimsby has already kicked of its 2019 signature funding raising and community event.Pictured right is Marilyn Cornell, 2019 Fantasy of Tress organizer - for the second year, Mario Bruno, General manager of Grimsby Hyundai and Jim Howden, Past President. They are wearing the Red Scarfs that kick off the 20th Anniversary campaign. The kick off launched on January 30th, which was both a cold and snowy day.
Last year the event raised $21,000 for local charities. Each year the event continues to grow and evolve.
