It's one of the biggest questions facing Rotary clubs today. We all know people who would make wonderful Rotarians, but how do we reach beyond our usual circles and introduce new people to everything Rotary has to offer?
Join the District 7090 Membership Committee on Tuesday, November 10, at 7:00 PM on Zoom for a lively, interactive conversation about finding new members and bringing fresh energy into our clubs.
Bring your questions, your ideas, and another club member or two. Membership is everyone's responsibility, and sometimes the best ideas come from talking with fellow Rotarians.
Y2Y is a transformative program that immerses Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth between the ages of 15 and 17 in Indigenous culture while fostering connections with a diverse group of young people from across Canada. They engage in meaningful cultural exchanges, learn about Indigenous traditions, and deepen their understanding of Indigenous history and heritage. This event is cost-free for selected participants. This includes travel to and from the event, accommodations, food and admission to facilities such as Museums. Only 50 youth will be chosen for this experience.
Interested youth must be:
A Canadian citizen or permanent resident,
Aged 15 to 17 at the time of the event, and
In a Canadian secondary school
Applications must be submitted online by the end of the day on October 30, 2026 at HonouringIndigenousPeoples.com. Selected applicants will be interviewed. Those selected for the program will be notified by November 27, 2026.
On October 16, 17 & 18, 2026 the Bi-National Rotary Club of Lewiston/NOTL Club proudly presented “At Wits End”, a one-woman show based on the writings of Erma Bombeck.
Bombeck began her professional syndicated column in 1965, writing over 4,000 columns chronicling suburban family life until April 1996, just days before her death.
The cabaret-style production was enthusiastically received by an unprecedented and appreciative crowd.
Besides raising funds to help those in need in our communities, the production helped promote and support the arts in our community, making it a better place to live.

A crazy idea of doing a Zombie Community project after Covid to bring Awareness of Rotary into the limelight and to get families itching to get out of lockdown to do something, has now morphed into a Polio+ Fundraiser.
It all started by getting students from the Greater Fort Erie Secondary School (GFESS) to participate in acting out as Zombies. Thanks to the Drama/English teacher and students who managed to make an outdoor haunted “pathway” of destruction and strewn cars. Yes, it was quite funny to see Rotarians park their cars in crazy positions you would see in a movie. The grass and tree portion added more hiding sites for the zombies.
In all, it was quite a joy to hear the occasional screams from kids who “jumped” out of their pants; especially when Zombies hidden inside a cargo van pulled up the cargo door and grabbed a high school student (part of the “drama club”) and pulled into the van.

The Rotary Club of Hamburg meets at Uncle Joe’s Diner in Hamburg on the first and third Tuesdays of the month.
Chief among its projects are the Farm to Family regional food distribution program and the Warm the Children Program that provides new winter clothing for children whose families face financial challenges.

The Rotary Club of St. Catharines Lakeshore is excited to invite Rotarians, friends, families, and trivia enthusiasts from across District 7090 to our Annual Fall Fun Trivia Night on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Club Roma in St. Catharines.
This is one of our club's major fundraisers, but it's also one of our favourite nights of the year — bringing people together for laughter, fellowship, friendly competition, and a little good-natured bragging!
Let the Friendly Competition Begin!
Gather a team of up to eight players and prepare to tackle 100 questions over seven rounds covering everything from music and movies to history, geography, sports, and those wonderfully unexpected questions that leave everyone saying, "I knew that!"
And don't worry if you don't know every answer. That's half the fun! Sometimes the wildest guess turns out to be the right one.
There will be cash prizes for the top three teams, 50/50 draws, heads or tails with money going to polio plus, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate those brilliant answers — or laugh about the ones that got away!
30 Years of Service Above Self — the celebration continues!
Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise celebrated 30 years of Service Above Self with an open house at the Simcoe and District Chamber of Commerce Business After 5 event.
Guests had the opportunity to learn more about Rotary through displays highlighting our fundraisers, community projects, youth exchanges and the many local and global charities we support.
The evening also provided an opportunity to recognize Eric and Adele Haverkamp, who were presented with Paul Harris Fellow awards for their tremendous support of those in need in our community.

Net proceeds from the event will be deposited in the Clubs self administered trust fund at the Hamilton Community Foundation to support poverty relief.
