What is the advantage of an endowed gift with the Rotary Foundation?
Rotary strives to increase the value of your gift by preserving and investing your initial contribution and spending only a portion of the earnings. Over time, the market value of the original gift grows, returning more in earnings each year. It is one gift that will continue to give back forever
What is the advantage of an endowed gift to my district and club? A gift to Endowment-SHARE allows your Rotary district to direct a portion of the spending along with a portion going to the World Fund to enable both your global and district grant projects each year. Through the Best of Friends Heritage Named Endowed fund, we can continue to honor our past and current leadership in how we serve others.
When do I get a receipt?
Receipts are issued by Rotary Foundation, your donation will be added to your own giving history with Rotary and any relevant tax receipts will be prompted for issue at that time. Note that the endowment program is not a qualifying program for Paul Harris Fellowship and points are not awarded.
