Service Above Self Award

Recognizing Those Who Make Service A Way Of Life

Service Above Self has long been a hallmark of Rotarians and Rotaractors who devote their time and energy to helping their neighbors — near and far — in significant ways.

The Service Above Self Award is considered the highest honor that Rotary International can bestow on a member. It recognizes up to 150 outstanding Rotarians and Rotaractors each year whose service activities make an impact on humanity. No more than one recipient is selected from a given district each year, and a person can receive the award only once.

Congratulations, Earl Knauss!
