DO I HEAR $20, $40, $50? sold!
That call was heard throughout the evening at the recent Rotary Club of Akron Newstead's 27th Annual Christmas Auction benefiting children and families in need in the Akron Newstead area. As one of the club's largest fundraisers, the event has become a community standard and featured live, silent and Chinese auctions as well as entertainment that created an evening of fun and fellowship, all for a wonderful cause. This year's auction raised over $20,000 which helped many during the holidays with food, clothing and toys. This good work was realized through the kindness and generosity of Rotarians, community members and businesses in Akron Newstead and the surrounding area. It is truly an example of many coming together for a common good spearheaded by Rotary.
