1000's OF MEMBERS AT YOUR FINGERTIPS

Former Members.  Remember that person who enthusiastically joined your club, made most meetings, headed a committee, held office… then got married, had kids, expanded their business… and resigned from your club?  People leave Rotary for many reasons: relocation, joining a new club, business or family obligations, cost.  For some former members, however, their situations have changed.  Kids grow up.  Jobs stabilize.  Finances improve.  Folks retire. A few who “relocated” are wise and fortunate enough to return to the area.  Some of your former Rotarians may be ready to re-engage - either as members or in some other way (volunteers, donors, sponsors, etc.)

A list of past members is available for each club on both the Rotary International  and District 7090 websites.  If you need help, your AG has detailed instructions on how to access this data.  In many cases, contact info is provided. Call, email, snail mail.  Reach out!  Invite them to a meeting, your next fundraiser, or a service day.

Rotary Foundation Alumni.  Another exciting source for potential Rotarians is our list of alumni of various Foundation programs: Interact, Rotaract, Youth Exchange, SLAPSHOT, RYLA, GSE, Vocational Training Teams, Grants, Scholarships, Fellowships, and Rotary Volunteers. According to RI there are about 300 alumni currently living in our district (two-fifths in the US, three-fifths in Canada).  Your AG has a list (with contact info) of alumni either sponsored by a club in your area, or currently residing there.  These are people who have, in most cases, benefited greatly from their experience in a Foundation program. They may be ready to re-engage by joining a club, presenting a program at your club, mentoring young professionals, sponsoring fundraisers, volunteering on service projects or donating to The Rotary Foundation.

There is a new Alumni page available on the District 7090 website, that provides a little more detail along with an Alumni Engagement slide presentation.  There are notes attached to many of the slides.

I hope these resources are helpful. Get Ready To Grow!
