Rotary Club of Amherst had a very successful Sproktober ​Fest in May.  This event is a take on Oktoberfest - only in the spring.  There were all types of German food and music by the Ausslanders.  Over 200 people attended the event and the club raised over $13,500.  The two beneficiaries are the Amherst Chapter of the Boys and Girls Club of Buffalo, the Buffalo City Mission's Cornerstone Manor Women and Children Shelter each of whom received $5000. The balance was added to the Rotary Club of Amherst East Foundation.
