NEED NEW ROTARY PERSPECTIVES?

If you answered yes, then please consider getting involved in some District events or committees.  For me, it is one of the most rewarding parts of being a Rotarian.

What type of committees might you consider volunteering for?  Here is a sampling:
  • Right now, we are seeking a volunteer to help with the organizing of the coaching series of sessions we are running at the district.  We need someone to correspond with those interested, manage the registrations, communicate updates for the sessions.
  • We are seeking individuals to join our newly formed diversity, equity and inclusion district committee and help us to make some great strides in this area
  • There is lots of room to get involved with our youth services - including helping us explore this new generations exchange program that Rotary has created where individuals under the age of 30 can create their own customized exchange where they build work skills while getting involved in a humanitarian project abroad.
  • We have a newly forming committee who is going to design the next district conference.  Looking for people who have some WOW ideas to make next year's conference a memorable and valuable experience.
If you want something a bit more bite-sized, then come to our Club Training Assembly on Saturday, May 15.  Twenty-four sessions being offered virtually.  You can attend a speed networking event to meet new people in the district or a session on how to improve your club's social media.  Those are just 2 of the 24 sessions.  Here is the link to register.

If you want to learn more about how you might volunteer at the district level, send me an email or a text or give me a call.  We will happily find you a great spot that meets your needs.
