CLUBS IN D7090 SHINE BRIGHT

The Rotary Citation recognizes the hard work clubs do throughout the year. Taking action toward achieving the goals of the citation helps clubs engage their members, stay relevant in their communities, and run more efficiently. A welcoming and engaging club also reflects the values of Rotary. When clubs achieve citation goals, they contribute to the overall health and culture of Rotary for generations to come.

There are in fact 25 goals listed in Rotary Club Central.  A club has to achieve at least 13 of these goals to be presented with the prestigious Rotary Citation.   Read More to see the clubs that have achieved a Rotary Citation and more - those who also achieved a Lighthouse Award.

The following clubs received word from Rotary International that they has been awarded the Citation for their work in 2021-2022.  As the Governor during this time period, I wanted everyone to know of their achievements.  Join me in applauding these clubs:

D7090'S LIGHTHOUSE CLUBS

Our own district has an additional award to give.  It is called the Lighthouse Award.  Only clubs who achieved a Rotary Citation are eligible.  At the start of the last Rotary year (2021-2022), we set some additional goals such as “have more than one member attend District Conference” or “be qualified for a Foundation grant by qualifying using the simplified process”.   Your club had to achieve five of these.  Full details can be found here and was shared with all Club Presidents.  As immediate past Governor, I am thrilled that the following clubs met the criteria and informed me of such before June 30, 2022.
Ancaster AM     Brantford Sunrise     Buffalo Sunrise     Dundas     Fonthill     Fort Erie     Grand Island     Greater Jamestown AM     Hamilton AM     Lincoln     Lockport     Niagara Falls Sunrise     Niagara-on-the-Lake     Norfolk Sunrise     St. Catharines Lakeshore     St. Catharines South     Welland     Westfield-Mayville
Well done everyone!
