Another service event for Batavia Rotarians was helping to assemble and label the hard hats to be used later in September for the “GLOW with Your Hands” event in Genesee County. This event brings together the Workforce Development Board, local vendors and employers with about 1000 high school students from the GLOW area. The students experience hands on work situations and speak with employers about future possibilities in a wide range of technical and skilled trades. Rotarians will also be volunteering the day of the event to assist with parking, guiding students and helping throughout the day.
