brrr... baby it's cold out here

On the night of December 10, Justin Bester, president of Brantford Rotary Sunrise and Sherry Kerr, president of Brantford Rotary, spent a cold night outside in support of Push for Change and Why Not City Missions.

Why Not City Missions helps local at-risk youth through a variety of programs. From providing food and clothing to addressing drug and alcohol addictions, homelessness, poverty and violence, Why Not City Missions provides programs that strengthen skills while building greater self-esteem and self-worth allowing local at-risk youth to achieve stability in their lives and learn to become productive members of the community.  Check them out on facebook or www.thepushforchange.com/ and www.whynotyouthcentres.com/ for more information.

To bring attention to the problem of homelessness and to raise funds for programs, Joe Roberts, the Skid Row CEO, is pushing a shopping cart across Canada. He started his 9,000-kilometre trek in St. John's Newfoundland on May 1 and is slated to end in Vancouver on September 30, 2017.
