2200 TURN OUT FOR 33RD ANNUAL ROTARY CLASSIC RUN

On Sunday April 26th the Rotary Club of Brantford hosted their 33rd Annual Rotary Classic Run.  They were blessed with a beautiful day.  Over 2,200 people participated in the run.  Corporate teams, schools, competitive runners and casual walkers all raised pledges to support various children's charities.

Under the leadership of event chair Rotarian, Paul Oddi, the Rotary Club of Brantford raised over $68,000.  Rotarians, along with their friends and family put on a great event.  Each participant was given a medal, pizza and bottle of water at the end of the race.  The male and female student who raised the most money were awarded a brand new bike.    The Classic Run team is already planning for next year to make this event bigger and better.
