$5K MAKES $25K TO ERADICATE POLIO

The Friday August 28, 2015 meeting of the Rotary Club of Brantford featured a presentation by president Rita-Marie Hadley to District 7090 Governor Kevin Crosby of the club's contribution to The Rotary Foundation's Polio Plus campaign.

The club's $5000 donation, to be leveraged by the government of Canada’s 2:1 match plus a 2:1 match by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation makes $25,000!

Before sharing his goals for the 2015-16 Rotary year, DG Kevin presented a surprise Paul Harris Fellow award to immediate past president Paul Kneale and perfect attendance awards to six Rotarians.

Just another Friday noon meeting leveraging local goodwill toward powerful impacts around the world.
