Prior to COVID-19, this event was held at the Boys and Girls Club. Due to COVID, the club had to transition to a “drive thru” event where guests could pick up their delicious dinner of Lake Erie Perch, celery bread, French fries, coleslaw and dessert.
A
dinner ticket also included a raffle ticket with a chance to win a Traeger Smoker and gift certificate generously donated to the club by a corporate sponsor. This year 375 dinners were sold and many corporate sponsors jumped on board. The Rotary Club of Brantford raised over $25,000 this year with all proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Club, Lansdowne Children Centre and other local children’s charities.
