What is the future of Rotary as it
spreads wider. Will the health of Rotary
be secure?
I believe that the future of Rotary is
very bright. We are faced with a future
of limitless potential that can be realised
by a willingness to serve. "The
future of Rotary is in your hands! We are relying on the innovation and
creativity of Rotarians worldwide
to make a positive difference in our
world communities. The health of
Rotary is secure as long as we stay
relevant to the challenges of our local
communities and of our international
scope.
Will the clubs have a direct access to all
the administrative data for smoother and
quicker action? Will the website provide
more data for easier implementation?
Clubs currently have the ability to
view and update information through
our website and we encourage clubs
to use these existing capabilities. For
more information they can access
the member section on our website -
www.rotary.org. Once an existing
initiative to implement a new
membership package is complete,
the clubs, districts and individual
Rotarians will have even greater
capabilities to view and update information.
This will be implemented
in the near future in a secure way
to ensure the privacy of our members data.
With compact discs available so
cheaply, will the publications of Rotary
be converted into discs for the greater
part of the Rotary World?
