We listened! You want our District Conference’s to be Educational, Engaging – especially to your partner and full of Enjoyment. We built our 2016 Conference on FELLOWSHIP! We are confident that there are some great new friendships just waiting to be sourced as you interact with and get to know each other.

 

It is my pleasure to introduce you to our Rotary International Representative, PDG William, Bill, Pollard, Jr. Bill is a member of the Rotary Club of Churchland, Virginia.  He was District Governor for Rotary District 7600 in 2008 – 2009.  As Bill says, he is a Hokie, a banker, a runner and a basketballer, his term. We are most fortunate that President John knew just who would fit in with our plans for this conference and he is just down the road a few hours from us.  Please join us, as PDG Bill Pollard shares President John Germ’s vision for this Rotary year…“Rotary Serving Humanity.”

 

Right off the bat PDG Bill fits right in with our Tail Gate Party, where any ball counts, doesn’t it? As Thurman Thomas cannot be with us he is donating some neat memorabilia for you to bid on. After you join your Rotarian friends for dinner, come on back for some conversation and tastings. 

 

Saturday morning will be all things Rotary with some extras tossed in. How about self-defense? Greg from Dunnville, knows how to keep us safe.  Hat making, for all of us, as you will want to sport appropriate headwear for our evening spectacular “Hats and Tails” Gala.  Everyone should come dressed as you see fitting for our Derby theme.
