Please join me in welcoming Michele Starwalt-Woods of the Rotary Club of Dunkirk-Fredonia who has been selected to serve as our Governor for 2025-26. She is the 7th woman to serve as a District 7090 Governor. Michele will fulfill the role of District Governor Nominee Designate, then District Governor Nominee and District Governor Elect on her way to becoming Governor, a journey of 2 and 1/2 years, requiring substantial commitment. Michele will serve as DGND until June 30, and, on July 1, start the new Rotary year as Governor Nominee.
She recently served as Assistant Governor for Area 16 for 3 years and is currently District Chair of Membership. Many of you may also know Michele in her service as an active member of the Public Image Committee. Michele will be active on several other planning committees as she prepares for the BIG job!
