QUIETLY WORKING AWAY

The Rotary Club of Fort Erie sends kudos to 20% of its club members, to the International Services committee, to Lorne White and Busie Thembie, who quietly work behind the scenes with Gordon Crann in helping a new applicant for a Rotary Peace Fellowship.

The small club and 11 other 7090 Rotary clubs deserve thanks for helping applicants work through all the document readings, zoom meetings, interview practices, applications writings, etc. in a highly competitive field (Global) to win one of about 50 Masters Programs and 80 Professional Development Certificate Programs.

In today's environment, we definitely need people with Peace development skills.

It's good to see our candidate, Farhe Osman (pictured here), from Hargeis, Somaliland, Africa, on her way to a hopefully successful application.  We wish her the best of luck. With all the work put in by all, they  are hopeful for success
