Local high school drama students “Zombies”, food vendors and other volunteers help make this a fun and festive afternoon/evening for children and their families. There is no entry fee for the families but donation jars are available should someone feel the urge to be charitable. Some of the local students have drawn some colouring pages and Zombie art work to help fill the pages of a comic book that is handed out to the children at the end of their spooky hike along with a bag of treats. It was a big hit last year so the plan is to keep it going for several years to come.
The Rotary Club of Fort Erie has been busy this past few months canvasing its little town for donations toward our upcoming multi-club TV & Online Auction that goes on air December 1st. First though, the club is getting ready for its second annual RotZI (Rotary Zombie Invasion) on October 23rd. Pictured right is the cast of characters from last year's invasion.
