CLUB COMPLETES 2ND ANNUAL ROTZI - POLIO ZOMBI INVASION

The Rotary Club of Fort Erie just completed their 2nd annual RotZi event to "Help End Polio Now".  On October 23rd, students from the drama club of GFESS dressed up and face made-up as Zombies and put on a drama skit of a survivor camp of last years Zombie Invasion.
As families with young children were led through the camp to visit the make shift tent hospital and science lab, evil scientists and overly ambitious doctors would surprise and jump scare the kids.

It was a great success in trying to grow this event into a RotZi festival as a food trucks were present and even a few Rotarians from other clubs showed up to help and support us.  Thanks to Gerbasi, Manning, and Hutton for showing up.

Last but not least:  graphic comic/colouring booklets were handed out to families.  The kids would keep the booklets for colouring which contained a page describing Polio history and the efforts to eradicate it.
