M I N U T E S of the SEPTEMBER 2016 ROTARY FOUNDATION BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING

 

Low-Cost Shelters and Simple Schools Statement: The Foundation maintains a ban on construction in global grants. Chairman Banerjee requested the Trustees to modify the ban to permit in a pilot period the construction of low-cost shelters and simple schools.

 

DECISION: The Trustees approved a pilot to provide for the construction of low-cost shelters and simple schools within global grants by lifting the ban on construction for a three year period, beginning 1 January 2017.
