The club provided three holiday hampers for low-income families through Wesley Urban Ministries located in Hamilton, Ontario, it purchased gift cards, grocery cards, toys for children, holiday treats, hats and gloves. Several hundred dollars’ worth of additional gift and grocery cards to be distributed by Wesley Urban Ministries as they see fit was also provided. The club provided more than $1,000 in assistance. They did it with smiles on their faces and with seeds of hope sprouting within their hearts, happy to help those in need within the local community.
Tonic is well aware that 2022 is off to a precarious start in regards to this ever-burgeoning pandemic, but pledges to continue to find ways around it, to continue implementing “service above self,” just as when it all first started. Tonic would like to acknowledge the tremendous service conducted by the clubs in District 7090 and all over the globe and wish you a prosperous and safe new year.
