To start the initiative, the club reached out to Father Tony O'Dell, who feeds homeless and hungry people out of St. Patrick's Church in downtown Hamilton, Ontario. Father O’Dell has
developed a source of fresh food through a farm, namely, the DeMazenod Farm, located in Ancaster, Ontario.
Members volunteer at the farm or in the alternative, support the food ministry with monetary donations. Poverty, and hunger derived from it, are critical, ongoing issues and our club is humbled to do our part to contribute some relief for those experiencing this traumatic plight.
