Hamilton East

August 11^th newly minted District 7090 Governor Marlee Diehl visited and presented the 2016-2017 goals to the Hamilton East – Wentworth Rotary Club.  During her presentation she told us about Arch Klumph, best known as the father of The Rotary Foundation, and his attempt to start the foundation with $26.50 in 1917.  Accepting this year’s challenge from the R.I. Foundation, the club presented Governor Marlee with a cheque for $1619 representing our member’s individual $100 annual contributions and an additional $26.50 for each of our current members.
