BEYOND ORANGE SHIRT DAY EVENTS

In the Niagara Falls area in the week of September 30, a series of events have been planned to honour Residential School Survivors leading up to National Day of Truth and Reconciliation Sept 30 - see SAVE the DATE poster.
 
Phyllis Webstad, the originator of Orange Shirt Day will be in attendance and will be a key speaker along with her extended family and other Residential School survivors to participate in the weeks events. Sign up for the Rotary Club of Niagara Falls Lunch on Tuesday, September 27 at Club Italia with speaker Phyllis Webstad and honoured guests from the Survivors Secretariat. Rotary clubs across Canada are being encouraged to sponsor Residential School Survivors from their area to attend the Beyond Orange shirt story events honouring residential school survivors. We have arranged a discount with selected Niagara area hotels- Howard Johnson Plaza and Embassy Suites and with WestJet for those who are flying.
