HAITI HIT HARD - NOW CHOLERA EPIDEMIC

Hôpital Albert Schweitzer Haiti | Smart Healthcare, Lasting Change  Some of you are querying how your club may help those folks in Haiti who were devastated yet again. It wasn’t that many years ago, that much of Haiti was flattened by a disastrous earthquake.  Now this!!!  As many of you know our Roy Sheldrick, Ancaster Rotarian, has worked in Haiti for a long time drilling water wells and building latrines. Yesterday,  he notified me that cholera has surfaced and is spreading fast across the area.  The Hospital Albert Schweitzer has opened a wing for cholera  patients.  Roy has offered to accept cheques/checks to help fight this epidemic.  To keep things simple make your donation payable to the Rotary Club of Ancaster with a notation “Albert Schweitzer Hospital for Haiti cholera epidemic” and mail it to Roy Sheldrick, C/O Rotary Club of Ancaster, 385 Jerseyville Road, Ancaster, ON, L9G 3L5 CANADA.
