It seems that as each year passes they become more frenetic in pace. The Rotary Club of Lancaster-Depew is blessed with members who come together as a team for any task at hand. One of those annual tasks (since 1945) has been working the concession stand at the weekly Lancaster High School football games. The proceeds of the concession stand go for college scholarships. Weekly there are between a handful to nearly 20 people needed to operate the stand, depending upon size of the crowd. Club member dedication is high and is a must. It's not all work however. At a recent event, past president Brian Williams and newly inducted Honorary Member Emily Williams celebrated their wedding anniversary. Their son Lucas sent a cake for the volunteers present to share. Congratulations Emily and Brian!
