 The Rotary Club of Lincoln is pleased to announce that the final delivery of Christmas gifts and gift cards has been completed! On November 24, the Rotary Club of Lincoln made a decision to commit $10,000 from the Lamplighter production fund and to work with Community Care of West Niagara & Village of Hope so that they could buy, wrap and deliver gifts for kids and youth in its local community.The Lamplighter Tour came about in 2003 and has remained as one of Lincoln Rotary’s major fundraisers www.lamplightertour.com that had to be canceled this year. These funds are usually reserved for the completion of local signature projects such as the Charles Daly Rotary Band Shell at Charles Daly Park and in the last year contributions to Rotary Park in Beamsville and The Legacy Hall at Cave Springs Camp. The club membership and Lamplighter Production team unanimously decided to spend the funds a little differently this year and created the Gifts for Kids campaign. | ||
Community Care of West Niagara shared that one of their needs was gift cards for youth so the youth could use these to purchase something on their wish list. We responded by 
providing 100 gift cards all packaged and wrapped with a few treats so they could be distributed by Community Care of West Niagara to youth on their lists.
