March is a time to remind the club presidents of a few deadlines:

RI Presidential Citation
Please review all the items listed in the Presidential Brochure carefully. Most clubs will have no difficulty in qualifying if your club has met the minimum requirement of a net increase of one member. Ask you past presidents for assistance. Please talk to your AG if you need any clarification. If you need any further clarification, call me at 716-868-9150. Please remember that this award is not for the club president. It is an award for the club and if your club qualifies, you, as club president, owe it to your club to apply so that your club is recognized by the Rotary International President John Kenny.

The Rotary Foundation Giving
All except a couple of clubs have submitted an annual giving pledge. We are well on our way to meeting and even surpassing this goal as we have done so in the past. During PETS training, at many Area Presidents meetings and during my official club visits, I have challenged several clubs to become a Sustaining Member Club and many more to qualify as an EREY club. I urge you to closely monitor your club & member contributions on the RI web site and make sure that you achieve one of this status. In many instances it is asking those few members who have not contributed yet to do so. Don't forget to ask that new member who joins you in June to contribute lest you lose to status that you want to achieve. Lastly, send all contributions by end of May.

Membership
In the March issue of the District 7090 Newsletter, Pene has published the club membership count from data that is available to her. Please review your clubs numbers and get in touch with Pene to correct your club's numbers if they are wrong. We will assume that these number are correct if Pene does not receive a correction from your club by April 12th.

Congratulations to those clubs that have met the goal of one or more net increase.  Keep it up! I am also encouraged that so many more clubs are holding their own. I appeal to all clubs to strive hard for membership retention. Remember, a member retained, is one less you have to recruit.

Remember, The Future of Rotary is In Your Hands.
