MEMBERSHIP MATTERS

Each month, since October 2016, we have published a Membership Newsletter for clubs. Each issue offers ideas to help clubs retain current members and recruit new ones.  It’s not rocket science, but it might involve a willingness to try some new strategies. These monthly newsletters have been sent to your club’s Membership Chair. If no Membership Chair for a club is identified in our district database, the newsletter is sent to the club's President...

The October newsletter focused on several important resolutions adopted by the RI Council on Legislation that give clubs much greater flexibility regarding meeting frequency, attendance requirements, and membership types in order to better meet the needs of their existing members as well as prospective members. The November newsletter addressed alternative membership types. The December newsletter offered ideas on how clubs can work together to grow their membership.

If you’d like to get a copy of any of these past (and future) newsletters, please see you club’s Membership Chair (or President if you don’t have a Membership Chair), go online to the District website (www.rotary7090.org) and click on District Committees (in the header menu), Membership Resources, 7090 Membership Newsletters.  You also can request a copy from me - kevin@d7090.org.
