2009-2010 Membership Workshops

 

The District Membership Committee invites all clubs to send four or more representatives to at least one of four workshops that will be held around our District this Fall.  Membership in our District has unfortunately declined over the past several years, although last year we finally saw some increase, therefore, we need to build on that trend. We must continue to recruit, develop and retain qualified members in order to carry out the many local and international service projects that make Rotary the great organization we are so proud to belong to.

 

The workshops are listed below.  Each session is similar, and is scheduled to be less than two hours long and will include a light dinner or snacks at the beginning of the session.  Each evening program will begin at 6:00 pm and end before 8:30 pm. The agenda below will be similar at each session, with different speakers per session, so if you are unable to attend the one closest to you, then do a 'make-up' at one of the others. 

 

While there can be more than 4 participants per club, please return the attached reservation form and identify the individuals who will attend at each location.  Cost of the workshop is $15.00 per attendee, either U.S. or Canadian currency depending on the location.  Cash is acceptable, but Checks/Cheques should be made payable to Rotary District 7090.  While payments will be accepted at the door, the Membership Committee requests that you make a reservation in advance so that they can properly plan the food for the number of attendees at each site. The following are the dates:

 

  • Monday, November 16th   for Areas 1/2/3/4/5, at MohawkCollege in Hamilton.
  • Wednesday,  November 18th  for areas 9/10/11/12/.13/14 at Eagle House in Williamsville
  • Tuesday November 24th for areas 6/7/8 at NiagaraCollege in Niagara on the Lake
  • Tuesday December 1st  for areas 15/16/17 at HolidayValley in Ellicottville
