carmichael named to zone 24 position
Big news was announced at the Rotary E-Club of Southern Ontario-Western New York (SOWNY) holiday social in Hamilton on January 14th. It's Immediate Past President, PDG Brian Carmichael, has been appointed 2017-20 Zone 24 Assistant Rotary Coordinator responsible for Districts 6330, 7070, 7080 & 7090...
Rotary coordinators provide expertise and support to encourage membership growth and strengthen clubs. Rotary coordinators help offer innovative strategies to engage current and prospective club members through effective volunteer service, Youth Services programs, and strategic planning. As consultants in their regions, Rotary coordinators work with district leaders to identify and address membership challenges using a broad approach to build stronger clubs. Rotary coordinators also serve as trainers and facilitators at Rotary institutes, governors-elect training seminars (GETS), regional meetings, and district seminars. To better cover the zones, assistant Rotary coordinators are assigned to specific districts.
