JAMESTOWN HEARS FROM SPEAKERS

At a recent meeting, the Rotary Club of Jamestown heard from Andrew Nixon, the director of the Chautauqua County Visitor's Bureau who spoke about tourism in Chautauqua County. According to Andrew, tourism is a major industry in Chautauqua County, which is growing significantly.   In addition to the many statistics that prove this statement, Andrew noted that the advertising and PR generated by our county's tourism industry is positive messaging that can be used to combat negativity and so-called "bad press".  In the photo on the right, left to right, Andrew Nixon, President Todd Allen and Doug Conroe, the program chair for March.

At another meeting in March of the Rotary Club of Jamestown, the club was delighted to hear from the new Owner and Manager of the Jamestown Jammer, Jamestown's semi professional baseball team. In the photo on the left, from left to right, Anthony Barone, Jamestown Jammers Manager, Jamestown Noon Rotary President Todd Allen, and Kevin Rhomberg, Jamestown Jammers Owner and former Major League Baseball Player.
