ARE YOU ABLE TO HELP NEW GENERATIONS SERVICE EXCHANGE?

We have an incoming New Generations Service Exchange (NGSE) Candidate hoping to come to Canada/USA June-August 2023. Are you able to help?

Name: Marina Medeiros, 25 years old.
Country: Brazil
Language: Portuguese, English
Occupation: Lawyer (Real Estate Law)

We are looking for:

1. Law firm(s) - to allow Marina to understand more about Canadian Law. Marina is interested in Real Estate law, and would love the opportunity to learn more about: Criminal Law, Civil Law, International Law, and Environmental Law. Marina would be doing a job shadow type experience. She is a lawyer in Brazil, however, in Canada/United States would be working alongside colleagues in the firm to understand Canadian/American Law, assist as needed, and could be discussed further with the law firm on what both sides are comfortable with having Marina participate in. The expectation is that she attends the workplace as if she was working there and follows the set hours in the office (within reason).
2. Potential host family(ies) - Marina is to be hosted in a town/city closeby to the workplace to allow her accessibility to get the most out of her experience.
3. A host Rotary Club to assist us to help provide Marina with a wonderful experience in District 7090 as one of the first NGSE inbound candidates for our district! It would be impactful for Marina to be able to attend Rotary meetings, and participate in community events. Marina would be expected to provide a presentation to the Rotary club upon completion of her NGSE.

Marina would like to be in both Canada and the USA, but primarily holds interest in Canada. She ultimately will go where she can be accommodated/hosted. She currently has both an American and Canadian visa. Marina graduated law school in 2019, and just completed her post-graduate studies in Criminal Sciences. Marina comes from a family heavily involved in Rotary. Her father is a Rotarian, as were her father’s parents. Her father was president of his club, chairman, and is a past district governor. Her mother is also an affiliate of Rotary in a Rotary friendship club. Marina understands Rotary's aim is to serve people around the world, and states she is aligned with Rotary's goals.  Marina likes spending time with friends, watching TV series, cooking, and working out. She would like to see the different cities in both Canada and the USA including Niagara Falls. Marina is hoping to come June-August 2023, and would like to come for 3 months. Her outbound sponsoring Rotary Club is Juiz de Fora, Brazil.
