RACE FOR ROTARY WAS GREAT

The Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise and the Norfolk County Fair partnered for the first annual Thanksgiving Monday "Great Race for Rotary".  Pictured are George Araujo, General Manager NCF, and runner participant Helen Jones.

The Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise held The Great Race for Rotary at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds in Simcoe, ON on Thanksgiving Monday, October 10, 2016.

It was the perfect weather for running or walking and over 60 participants came out to enjoy the morning.  It was a 5 KM or 10 KM run/walk through the streets and trails of Simcoe. Rotarians lined the route and water stations, welcoming and encouraging the runners to continue on.  This event was a great partnership between The Norfolk County Fair and RCNS.

The Great Race For Rotary was created to honor a GREAT Rotarian, John Race, a man that loved Rotary, our fair, and our local trails.  We hope we made him proud!
