RCNS IS SO COOL

STRENGTHENING ROTARY CAMPAIGN '22 - STEP #2

Rotary aims to connect with, remain relevant to, and do good in the community. The Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise (RCNS) in Norfolk County believes in this and has a great history of community support and involvement.  We are actively Strengthening Rotary through our involvement.

Most recently, we were attracted to the needs of the local Youth Unlimited group and their desire to raise funds for needy youth in our community with their Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) walk.  In the end, Rotary did very well - topping all Corporate & Community Challengers, and as a club we did great (with 16 members and over $10K raised, we were among the three leading Rotary teams in Canada) see the overall CNOY results by clicking on this link.

Whilst walking, we created a new (and enclosed) YouTube video link which adds yet another dimension to an earlier story in support of  the Strengthening Rotary project - see https://youtu.be/ry65xB14uos - this short video clip communicates a typical story in our RCNS lives and adds a sub-story about why we joined and/or stayed with our local Rotary Club - ie on that particular cold weekend walk for the local needy; why is it that Rotary is so cool to us!
