OLEAN LIGHTS UP ROTARY

Olean Rotary Day Coming @ St Bonaventure – U Mass Mens’ Basketball Game was a BIG SUCCESS! Olean Rotary Club members were present to LIGHT UP ROTARY and raise funds to support our annual area 3rd grade Dictionary/Literacy project. The seeds of interest for a ROTARACT Club on the Bonaventure Campus were planted.
 
ROTARACT interest meeting was sponsored by our Olean Rotary Club and held in February at St. Bonaventure University! The response was great (30+ student) and the details are getting ticked off with hopes to have our charter meeting coming up in April!
 
ANOTHER New Member Induction! On March 17th, we officially welcomed Sue Payne into membership. It is extra special as Sue represents the mother side of our first-ever mother-daughter membership team! AG and PP Kathy Burch led the ceremony. Member Risa Micheinzi sponsored Sue. WELCOME TO ROTARY!
 
$1000 Texas BBQ Smoker Raffle tickets are still available. Go to www.oleanrotary.org to get your chance to win an awesome smoker before the summer season arrives! Drawing May 18. $5 for a single ticket. $20 for five tickets. Proceeds to benefit youth and local projects.
