FOCUS ON YOUTH

On July 20th the Orchard Park Rotary Club was joined by Ava Savarino, this year's winner of the club’s $5,000 James Saville Scholarship.  Ava will be attending John Carroll University in the fall and plans on majoring in Biochemistry

The Rotary Club of Orchard Park sends her its best wishes as she begins this new and exciting phase of her life.
 
Also, on July 24th the Orchard Park Rotary club was joined by the Recreation and Parks Department for the dedication of the new matting at Green Lake beach. The matting, which will now allow people of all abilities to have access to the beach and water, was donated by the Orchard Park Rotary. This was the second donation the club has provided to the town park that has made the park more accessible for people with special needs.
