POLIO AWARENESS DAY

Polio Awareness Day is October 24, 2016.  Last year on that day, Walli and I were on a cruise ship of mostly Aussies, travelling from Singapore to Sydney. During introductions at dinner, I gave my elevator speech to what turned out to be a rapt audience. Where we are with polio, from where have we come, the future, why we should care - will make a very powerful moment for you and Rotary - anytime, really. Whether or not you had a polio project on  Awareness Day, if we all have 20 or 30 seconds prepared and use them, there will be "talk at the water cooler" beyond that; can you imagine?
