PUBLIC IMAGE GOALS

Did you know that Rotary District 7090 is part of Rotary Zone 24 East?  Tanya F. Wolff is our Rotary Public Image Coordinator within Zone 24 East.  Tanya’s goal is to assist our District Public Image Committee and Rotary clubs in achieving one of Rotary’s Strategic Plan priorities, which is “to enhance public image and awareness.”...

There are three focus areas:

Local Media Placement
Tanya encourages all clubs to secure media placements, covering:
  • Service projects
  • Highlights of people or organizations that have benefited from club service
  • Local events/fundraising efforts
  • Polio eradication or six areas of focus
  • Social connections/networking opportunities
Rotarian and Public Image Co-Chair Chrissy Casilio-Bluhm has delivered a great Public Image webinar covering the basics of an effective media release. You can reference her presentation here How to Write a Press Release and Other Tips

Digital and Social Engagement
Tanya suggests that all clubs increase their usage of social media trainings and materials.

Rotarian and Public Image Co-Chair Tawnya Hartford recently presented a very informative Social Media training webinar full of tips and tools. You can reference her presentation here Social Media Webinar.

Focusing on Public Image will help Rotary clubs navigate the new media and ad-cluttered world in which we live.

If we can collectively share our voice in Rotary District 7090, we will continue to build on the fine reputation of Rotary.
