RLI GRADUATES 9

This past Saturday, March 21, forty Rotarians participated in Rotary Leadership Institute at Niagara County Community College.

It is exciting to see more of our clubs realizing the benefits of RLI and sending multiple members to RLI. The following clubs qualified for this special recognition of sending multiple participants, Akron Newstead, Brantford Sunrise, LeRoy, Lockport, Niagara Falls, NY, Welland, and Williamsville. How many participants is your club sending to the upcoming RLI event?

Nine Rotarians graduated from Part 3 of the program (all three parts must be completed in order to graduate from RLI): Melisa Schrock – Akron Newstead, Kevin Davis and Vinnette Gooden -  Brantford Sunrise, AJ Block – East Aurora, Aisling Heenan – Fredonia, Paul McAfee – e-club of SOWNY, Jim Ellison – LeRoy, Barbara Greenwood - Niagara Falls, ON, Kamil Umit Eruysal – Welland and Ed Stachura – Williamsville, will finish his part three when he feels better.  We hope that is June 6th. Get Well, Ed!

Registration opens on April 1, 2015 for the upcoming Rotary Leadership Institute on Saturday, June 6th at the Niagara College, Niagara on the Lake, ON.

Chris Cutler facilitated the Team Building session in Part 2. He certainly helped the 13 Part 2 participants get all tangled up, and then let them through teamwork find the solution to getting untangled. For a little while, it looked like they were playing a new version of Twister. We had arms and legs going in every direction.  In the photo - Jackie Davis, Lockport, John Cooper, Niagara Falls, NY, Justin Bester, Brantford Sunrise and Dave Greenfield, Lockport, have almost succeeded in their task of being free from the tangle except for their partner who held the other end of the cloth. It certainly put a smile on DG Jack and Mike Amico’s faces as they watched the antics.
