WHAT ROTARIANS DO IN RETIREMENT?

My mom used to say I was quite the storyteller. Dad always proclaimed that I was a mystery to him.  Maybe that's why, when retirement broke down my door, I decided to try my hand at writing mystery novels. To me, it’s not about becoming the next Steven King and making lots of money.  It’s simply about keeping busy and telling a story that would interest people...

My first novel was Murder in Biloxi, about an unimpressive novice detective who bungles his way through his first case involving missing children. All profit from the sale of the book went to charity.  Here I am with Pumba, my Dachshund Editor. (She trying to convince me to take out the wiener jokes!)

Having received enough positive feedback, I was inspired to write a sequel, entitled Rock You Like a Hurricane.  Once again all profit from the book sales goes towards helping children through the Rotary club.  So if you enjoy a good, and sometimes funny story, and want to support a great cause check out my work at  www.joehamilton.ca.
