NEW INTERACT CHARTERED

On Wednesday, December 7, the newly chartered St. Catharines Collegiate Secondary School Interact Club celebrated the induction of its 17 Interactors with a reception hosted by the students' culinary department!
 
In attendance at the induction ceremony were District Governor Marlee, PDG Art Wing, Rotary Club of St. Catharines President George Darte, Rotary Club of St. Catharines Lakeshore President Sandy Chard, St. Catharines Mayor and Rotarian Walter Sendzik, as well as a number of fellow Rotarians.  The club is supported by Principal Tammy Zonneveld and Teacher Advisor, Andrew Wilson.  The club was initiated by two alumni SLAPSHOT participants: Laurene Carter and Desmond Taylor, with the support of Rotarian Lezlie Murch.
 
The project of choice of the Interact Club is St. Catharines Community Care and the Niagara Peninsula Children's Centre. They have also already assisted at the Rotary TV Mega Auction!
