TRF ENDOWMENT FUND

A number of our Rotarians and Rotary clubs have been very generous in their contributions to The Rotary Foundation over the years.  THANK YOU for keeping up with your contributions this year.

Now is also the time to think about the future of The Rotary Foundation. You can designate The Rotary Foundation Endowment Fund as part of your estate planning. Adding a bequest to The Rotary Foundation Endowment Fund as part of your will can ensure the continuation of your annual contributions by the "interest" earned each year on the distribution from your estate.

There are probably a number of Rotarians in your club who have already included The Rotary Foundation Endowment Fund in their wills but have not informed RI or your Rotary club of their designation.  Item #13 of this year's Rotary Citation for Clubs asks:  "How many individuals or couples will inform The Rotary Foundation of their estate plans to include the Endowment Fund as a beneficiary or will make an outright contribution of US $1,000, or more to the Endowment Fund?"

This requirement will be met by counting the new donors, as well as those who have already met the requirement in the past but have never informed Rotary International.  The District is asking all of our clubs to survey their members to see how many either currently added the Endowment Fund to their estate planning, or have done so privately in the past.

Please inform A. J. Block at ajblock1@gmail.com of all of your Club Rotarians that meet this Rotary Citation goal.
