SUPPORTING HIGH DIAPER DEMAND

The Rotary Club of Waterdown's Youth Service Chair Darryl Kirkland (left) is pictured presenting a $2700 cheque to Jim Leamen General Manager of Flamborough Food Bank on January 11, 2023.
 
 
 
The funds will boost the agency’s diaper initiative.  Jim shared that the needs of the food bank have spiked significantly since and even continuing after COVID.
 

SANTA CAME TO TOWN

The Rotary Club of Waterdown welcomed the Jolly Ol' Elf at the Waterdown Rotary Memorial Park Skating Loop on Saturday December 17th.  Pictured are Rotarians (L to R) Margot Rae, Karen Matthews, Santa (aka Jeff Kleven) and Michael Collette serving up hot chocolate at the skating loop.
 
The Waterdown Rotary Club is very proud of this skating loop that was built and opened to the public in 2016.  This location (park) is where the club also hosts their annual Oh Canada Ribfest fundraiser!
